Traveling North To Denver
Take I-25 toward downtown and exit on the Auraria Parkway (#210C). Travel on the Auraria Parkway east coming toward downtown Denver. Turn right after the second stop light (just past the Auraria Fields before you get to Speer Blvd.) into Lot R. Metro State fans are allowed to park in Lot R free of charge beginning one hour before the start of Metro State events.

Traveling South To Denver
Take I-25 toward downtown and exit at Speer Boulevard South. Take the bridge across I-25 to Auraria Parkway. Take a right on Auraria Parkway and immediately get in the far left lane. Turn left (about 30 yards from intersection) and go across Auraria Parkway into Lot R. Metro State fans are allowed to park in Lot R free of charge beginning one hour before the start of Metro State events.

Baseball, softball, soccer and tennis events take place at Auraria Field, located between Lot R and the Tivoli Student Union.  Basketball and volleyball events take place at the Auraria Event Center.


Parking
Officials and Teams
Officials and visiting teams should park in the Tivoli Parking Garage (TAPS) lot off 9th Street and Auraria Parkway.  Note that is a change from 2009-10, when teams parked in the Tivoli Parking Lot. 

Team buses may unload in the turnaround near the Event Center, accessible off Auraria Parkway and Speer Blvd.  Due to the RTD construction in Lot F, our bus parking has disappeared. To alleviate this problem we have come up with a new location to direct visiting team sport buses. The new location is the half-circle directly across the street from St. Elizabeth’s Church, just south of the Science Bldg. By parking them here they will be closer to the fields and the Event Center.

Fans
Lot R is open and FREE.  The gate the the parking lot goes up one hour before the start of all games and goes down a half hour after the start, allowing fans to park for free during that time, and is accessible off Auraria Parkway. Additional parking may be available on game days for a fee (see campus map).
